- Is the problem dangerous?
- How long will the problem last?
- How many people are involved?
- How can the problem be solved?
Based on the answers, students placed problems appropriately on the scale. Overall, problems rated as a 1 are things that often do not require a solution, but can be resolved by simply staying calm. A problem that is a 2 still mostly only affects one person, but requires an action to be fixed. The scale continues up to a 5, which is considered an emergency. Below is an example of some problems students worked to sort!
